The Photographer

Pamela “Pam” Hymer is a Converse, TX-based lens-based artist working in both film and digital across nature, landscape, wildlife, and beyond. A graduate of the New York Institute of Photography with early studies at Parsons School of Design, her work has been recognized internationally, including Honorable Mentions from the Monochrome Awards and B/W Spider Awards, nominations from the International Color Awards and MonoVisions Awards, and multiple selections in the London International Creative Competition. Her images have been exhibited at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis, MN, and at the Louvre in Paris, France. From the wide-open skies of the Midwest to the quiet corners of Texas and beyond, she is always chasing that honest moment where light and life come together.
