I am a San Antonio-based photographer shooting an eclectic range of genres. My photography passion started as a kid and became my dream profession.
My journey with photography began in the early 1980s, when I spent countless hours exploring the world through my lens and immersing myself in the magic of the darkroom. During those formative years, I was fortunate to attend Parsons School of Design and the University of Delaware on scholarships, experiences that deepened my passion and honed my technical skills.
Life's twists and turns temporarily shifted my focus away from photography, but with the unwavering support of my family and friends, I rediscovered this passion and embraced the digital era. In this new, rapidly evolving digital medium, my love for capturing emotion and telling stories through images remains unwavering. To refine my craft, I enrolled in and graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, and I continually seek new knowledge and growth through many educational outlets. Photography, to me, is an ever-changing art form—one that invites ongoing learning and exploration.
My work aligns with the belief of Ansel Adams, who said, "A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words." I strive to create images that evoke emotion and speak beyond language, capturing moments that resonate deeply and leave space for interpretation.
